What the Mälaren islands are known for is found on the farms: apples, cider, strawberries to pick yourself, vegetables, flowers and beer from small breweries. Added to that, a centre at Tappström with ordinary shops, and the squares in Träkvista and Stenhamra. 21 farms and 24 shops below.
Farm shops, pick-your-own and cider presses
The season rules. The pick-your-own fields open when the berries ripen, the presses run from September and the garden centres have their high season in May. We only publish opening hours that the farm itself has given; the link goes to the farm's own page, where the current hours are.

Ekerö centre at Tappström, designed by Ralph Erskine and built between 1983 and 1991, is the municipality's shopping centre, with the library, the arts centre and the bus terminal.
